On a fresh install of Win2K Pro it will not run for over a day without crashing. Usually the system just locks up with no error messages, but this time I was fortunate P) enough to see a BSOD message.
It read:
Stop: 0x0000007 (0xC00000B5, 0xC00000B5, 0x00000000, 0x01037000) KERNAL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR
The strange thing is that I have had Win2K super stable before. Following the exact same procedures (installing, setting up drivers, updating).
The only reason I reinstalled is because I purchased a SCSI drive and controller. Those two pieces of hardware are the only different things in my system.
My system specs are as follows:
PIII 800EB w/Iwill Slotket II
MSI MS-6361 Pro
768 MB of RAM (2x256 Crucial, 1x256 Kingston)
18 GB Fujitsu MAN3184MP
Adaptec 26160LP controller (flashed to latest BIOS 3.10.00)
Radeon 8500 retail
Philips Acoustic Edge
Linksys 10/100 NIC
60GB IBM 60GXP
60GB Maxtor DiamondMax 60
Enermax 431W PS
The only new hardware are my SCSI drive and controller, both of which seem to work fine. I also have a fan blowing air over the SCSI drive to keep it cool.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
