I am building a quiet server. I do not expect to have to look at it much, except when installing software. Neither the Asus K8V SE Deluxe nor the Asus K8N-E Deluxe motherboard has any onboard video, so I have to add a cheap card. My top choices are:

1. ATI Radeon 7000 64MB (~$39)
2. ATI Radeon 9200 128MB (~$65)
3. ATI Radeon 9200SE 128MB (~$47)

Does anyone have any advice?

I assume AGP is preferred over PCI.

Thank you.

welcome to Anandtech

for a server, anything cheap will do. you're not going to use it much directly i'm assuming. the radeon 7000 you listed above would be just fine. AGP/PCI doesn't matter much, you're not really interested in video performance from a server.

You dont even have to shoot that high. A Rage Pro 128 for 15 bucks will do just fine. Offers nice 2D.
Check the FS/FT forum and get yourself a deal.
