Is condom a good response for this thread?
If I were a police officer, I would totally do this just to fuck with people. Say I'm doing a cavity search but instead of putting on a glove, I put a condom over my entire hand then put lube on the whole thing and tell the person to turn around.

WTF? Hello Kitty doesn't even have fingers. Mittens would make more sense.

My fleece North Face gloves do not work that great, but they are easy to put on and comfortable. They let too much wind in wince they are fleece.
I have an old Wal-Mart pair that has a denser water resistant outer shell that work much better, but are more stiff and less comfortable.

Did that for a while, doesn't keep my other hand warm if I need to use it. (Which I always end up needing apparently)

That must have been a weird sight to see. Some guy struttin his stuff down the street, wearing 1 glove. Even wearing socks on your hands would look better. Maybe a sock puppet would work too.

Depends on what you like and if you want Mens or Womens type glove.
For ex: I have fairly small fingers and easily fit into a Size 8 glove perfectly.
It can be either Cashmere Lined or if it is really cold, Rabbit Lined.
Women's glove leather is usually a little thinner and very supple.
A lot of men's gloves have thicker leather with stitching showing on the outside of the fingers. Works ok, if you have fat fingers or want to use the glove for outdoor type work. I personally like a brand of gloves made by Fownes Brothers.
Usually at Macy's or other fine stores.

Echoing an earlier comment, the best most versatile glove is using a silk liner (WARM!) with a windproof fleece (i.e. Windbloc, Windstopper, etc), softshell (i.e. Schoeller or Polartec brand softshell), or thin leather (leather is windproof) glove.

Most windproof fleece gloves have leather palms...make sure it DOES b/c it helps with snow manipulation and gripping slippery metal stuff.

The liner, as someone else said, acts like a base layer to create a warm air barrier. It's like having your hands in a tent without touching the cold tent. This combo is much thinner, comfortable and warmer than bulky padded gloves. Plus, when it's warmer, you can take the liner out and use the windproof fleece gloves for jogging, etc--VERY versatile and, again, warmer!

As a liner, choose SILK over polyester/fleece (much warmer). It's super thin and the weight/warmth ratio is extreme. It's amazing! B/c silk liners are thin, they fit into the fleece/softshell gloves really easily. It's really easy to put your hands in and out of such a two-liner glove (leaving the liner in). No wrinkly mess as silk liners are comfortably snug.

Google silk liner for pricing and get your fleece glove on sale on the internet. Check Cabelas.com, SierraTradingPost.com, and your local Burlington Coats Factory for ongoing sales. Also google Polartec Winbloc and Gore-tex Windstopper gloves for sales at other stores...

I prefer latex over vinyl; the stretchiness just feels better to me, and the latex doesn't melt in acetone.
