Recommend me some good gloves. I lost one of mine (ones from original droit loops pic) and need new ones. Those old gloves were alright for some things but far too weak to really keep my hands warm on most days.

Suggestions?

50 cent walmart gloves and wear 3 pairs

If you're really hell bent on being warm, buy welding mits as well.

So how will this thread go? We are just going to make suggestions and Trident will make excuses why our suggestions are not valid?

Does that mean we should make fake suggestions?

If you don't need to pull out a bus pass or drive a car, you could put socks on your hands.

I picked up a nice set from Columbia. It's a two piece glove. Gortex/waterproof outer and a fleece inner. They've worked pretty well. Got them at the outlet store for like 50 bucks. Plus because it's two piece it's easy to dry them if they do get wet.

Any gloves with a liner that fit are good.

I tend to wear thinsulate as they keep my hands warm and aren't too thick to be usefull while driving.

Make sure it has a cuff too. Something that goes OVER your jacket.
I also suggest they have "vents" that can be opened on them in case you get TOO warm and start to sweat. The last thing you want to do in cold conditions is sweat.

Once you get past thin wind stopping gloves, dexterity pretty much goes out the window. I have these shell gloves for most things, but If I'm going to be out for a while and it's really cold, I just use mittens like these. It is *much* warmer having your fingers together in a mitten than separated in a glove.

is this a parody thread? get glove liners and any glove will be warmer, for one, when your hands sweat they are A LOT easier to dry out. take to a bathroom and put under automatic hand dryer. you wear base layers everywhere else when you're doing something outdoors in the cold, why not with gloves, too?

You lost one glove? The world works this way - you lose a glove, you pick up one that someone else lost. Who says that your gloves should match?
