Good gaming LCD

go with the Hitachi CML 17" one.. it has the nicest colors and a 16ms pixel response time. none of the LCDs larger than 17" have pixel response times this low. u may want to look at the NEC 1760NX or the Planar 17" one (sorry, forgot the model #)
 
NEC 1760V or 1760NX, a few more features on the latter. It's the same lcd as the hitachi 17", both of which are 16ms, but I prefer it.
 
I have the Viewsonic listed above and I think it's an excellent gaming monitor. It's a tad bit more expensive than some of the other similar ones though.
 
How is the viewsonic compared to the Hitatchi and NEC? I'm also reading tom's hardware and they are saying that 20ms is actually better than 16. Read it here. They seem to like the Hyundai Q17A but don't compare it to the exact monitors you guys mentioned.
 
i was looking at the nec's and they arent good for dig input because they dont come with DVI cable. if u want analog only go with teh 1760V the 1765 is comsetically way better looking however
