good gaming laptops

I want to buy myself a laptop that will be able run games as well, however I dont want to go overboard and spend 2000$ on it... So what are some Cheep laptops that do have a decent graphics card and are not too expensive. ??

Also how is it with exchanging graphics cards in laptops? is it possible/? I believe I saw some Alienware laptops advertising this feture/...

Thanks.

Check out ABS computers:

They have gameing laptops in the 1100-1200 dollar range.
They are a reputable company and make good computers for the money.

I personally would go with an Alienware for a gaming laptop. I had a Dell 3.2ghz P4 728 ddr333 and radeon 9000. It was good back then for CS 1.5 and unreal. But for todays games (BF2). It can't hold up. It just needs an upgraded graphics card too.... wish I could revive it for lan parties. Anyways, if you want performance for that price, like stated above, get a desktop and a flat screen for portability. Maybe build a frag box (shuttle style)? haha

E1705 (Inspiron 9400).

Should fall into your price category, and is an excellent gaming laptop for the money.
