I have to buy my case in The Netherlands, as it is to big for me to ship. About the HAF 922: NZXT Tempest Evo & CM 690 II Adv.< HAF 922? Or definitely not?
The HAF 922 looks a lot smaller than the 690 and the Tempest.

The HAF 922 doesn't have a side window, per se... it does have a fairly big section of perforated case for ventilation (where you can mount 2 120mm or 1 200mm fan, if you wish, along with another 200mm fan at the bottom of the case...) and is pretty close to being a window (without really being a window... ) and has some pretty good room. It already comes with 2 200mm fans (top and front,) and a 120mm fan (upper rear.) I have my 212+ set to blow through the heat sink and then out to the 120mm fan at the rear.

There must have been a change. In the pics on the newegg page I linked, it clearly shows a side window...but on the Coolermaster page, it shows the meshed opening. Perhaps the HAF 922 Blue shown on Newegg is a slightly different model. I know they also offer a HAF 922 Red that has a red case and a side window.

I had a look on other forums and other websites and I think that I am going to go with the 690, also because I think it looks more stylish than the 922. I thank you all for your input!

I have one (unrelated) question though. As my old PC broke all of a sudden, I wasn't able to get any files off the HD. Will I be able to just plug it into my new PC and just drag off the files before I format? Or can I only get it off in another way? So this would just be for getting off some small programs that I won't be able to find again, and music. Thanks!

I would use a linux live cd, or equivalent, to load into an os. You will be able to see your old drive from there. Connect up some other storage and copy the file you need. Voila.

I am running a side fan on my cooler master case and it did help keep my graphics cards fed with cool fresh air. Well worth buying 2 extra fans and experimenting with positions to find a good cooling setup.

Thanks Solmiester, but I don't really like the way it looks :(

I think €420 is just a little to much, as it is quadruple my budget ;) I could not find the Aqua 360 nor the 380 you were talking about. I think a water cooling solution is above my CPU cooler budget. I think I will stick with the 212+.

I don't think I know what worklog you are talking about nemesis 1. The NZXT Nemesis looks really ugly imo, and its above my budget.

Thanks though!

Ya I knew you were talking lower end . For me noise is the thing . The little box next to me built about 6 months ago is all air and it is load . I don't care for it a whole lot. But it is a browser but its just to load . First chance I get to sell it for a grand its gone.
No the Nemesis cases I am talking about are our cases . the Nemesis is a Lian li type case and it changes from time to time . But the PC X2000F is an exceptional case and were actually put alot of support money into the case for the water cooling . Wonderful case window Louvered front grill , Stainless steel tubing . and a reservoir setup like none any have ever seen thanks to koolance . TO see these cases up close is a differant experiance than pictures . Pictures just don't do it justice. The Nemesis 1 is a complete custom box . Thats stayed the same for sometime . It uses airboxes and great sidewindow . We are making one change tho and that will be the reservoir . It won't be koolance but a copy . All cpu water blocks in this case are silver. Again a change here as It cost us more to make than what I can now buy from Aqua . I have a nickel coated one coming when they are in stock . I ordered from performance PC . It will be awhile befor I see that . But he did tell me the silver based with brass top is coming in next week , But to go with the rest of the aqua stuff and stainless line I wanted the nickel toped block its a few bucks cheaper but at $300 a pop it really doesn't matter. Our own design which used another makers block with a machined silver base was costing us around $425 because of small runs . So aqua is saving me alot . and lol it uses the same base plate design as what were using now . Be really funny if the base fits the block were presently using which I believe it will. Ya I new you weren't talking about spending big money . But really thats the clients we target . $10,000 for a pc is alot so ya have to deliver quality without overstating the box. Class really doesn't like flasing lights at all.

Thanks NumericalMethods, on an other forum they told me that I could probably just put in the HD in my new PC, and boot in Safe Mode and get my files off. I don't have any linux cd's :(

Hmmm, you made me doubt again xD I've heard bad things about the Antec 900, and I think I prefer the 690 over the Antec anyway. The LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62 looks pretty good, I don't know how it stacks up against the 690. About the 1100, it is 17 EUR more expensive than the 690, is it really worth it?

I think some members here bought into the Antec 1100 from the hot deals section, anyone want to chime in? I used a Lian Li case on one of my builds for a friend last year and I can honestly say that the quality, fit and finish, materials used are top notch, especially for the price. (no cheap plastic feel/look anywhere)

EDIT: I found the link from the hot deals section. I understand you probably can't buy it from this company but you can go ahead and ask the members who bought one :) http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2210618

Yeah, you probably could. I was just suggesting that as a method because I was 100% sure it would work. Windows 7 is very good at adjusting its configuration to whatever hardware you have just plugged in. My flatmate just transferred his hard disk to a new system at it worked straight away. I did a media PC, again with Windows 7, the other day and it didn't - it would blue screen on loading no matter what I did.

I am using Win Vista 32-bit on it though...

OT: Anyone who has had some hands-on or knows a lot about the LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62, Antec Eleven Hundred and the CM 690 II advanced? Or could someone list a couple of the pro's and con's? Is it worth it spending more money on the Antec 1100 over the 690 and the PC-K62?
