Try out Alice. I just started playing that recently, and even though its an oldie, its VERY good. I think it came out winter 2000, but don't let that fool you. The graphics are VERY sharp and look very good, and with a system like taht you should be able to max out at 1024*768 (since the game's tutorial refers to Voodoo 3 videocards and "high end" machines of 128 megs of ram. Though if you do max out graphics I would think you need a lot stronger PC, b/c even I noticed lagginess and the frame rate dropping[2200+/512/g4ti4200]).
Its like a FPS in 3d view, and this is obvious enough because its based on the Quake 3 engine. But I REALLLLY like the artistic style~ makes me realize that in creativity and originality games today are often times lacking this aspect~ cool particle effects and things blowing up don't make up for creativity IMO.
But its really fun. My only grip is jumping feels too floaty and not solid enough.
But even though its a not a new game, it'll look VERY good on your system and its pretty fun and interesting to see a dark twist on alice
edit:
thinking about where to get it, obviously check a place like gogamer.com I doubt B&M stores would still carry this game.
