Dude, really?

The thread was JUST BUMPED cuz nobody wanted to pay attention to the sticky thread at the top.

Also, Cut The Rope. And Grisly Manor, but dont pay 99 cents for it. Not even worth that. Wait til its free on Amazon.

Do not get apps from Amazon, do not even install their app store app. Unless the dev releases their updates there, apps on Amazon don't get them. They don't play well with Android Market, and half the apps Amazon does have are orphans and hideously out of date compared to the Market versions.

Also only works for US based people, no free apps for Canadians, which is me.

I'll add this thread to the sticky thread. There's no games specific thread in the sticky thread, and besides when I made the sticky it wasn't an attempt to say the stickied threads are the only official threads... just an easy way to find them and a place for people to start.

There's some really good tower defense games on the market if you look. My favorite games are:

- HexDefense
- Spira Defense/Void Defense
- Jelly Defense
- Plants vs Zombies
- GLWG
- Game Dev Story
- Zenonia 1-??

Cool thanks

Games I like and find addictive are:

-Robo Defence
-Smurf Village (don't laugh)
-My Paper Plane 3 (#2 was good too, but 3 is much improved graphically)
-Drag Racing
-Game Dev Story
-Robot Adventure

FYI i just found GenPlusDroid which is a totally awesom genesis emulator. I would reccomend it. Its free on the market too.

I don't get how people can play emulators on their phones. I couldn't think of a single game I used to play on the old consoles that would be doable on a touchscreen. No shoulder buttons, now easy way of sweeping the d-pad and hitting diagonals, most platformers involve holding one button to run then another button to jump which is something I accomplish by rocking my right thumb between the physical buttons. Having no elevation to the buttons means I can't do that.

Tell me AT, what are you guys playing on those things?

Im currently playing shining force 1.

The controls are actually not bad you can adjust the size and posistion of all buttons/dpad with the emulator i mentioned and you can hit diagnals by hitting the space between the up/down and left/right and it will input a diagnal very much like the 6 button original genesis controller that had the round one piece dpad.

As for holding buttons obviously this isnt a ideal setup for mortal combat or that type of game but works fine for RPG's and most action/adventure games. Sonic is fun as well.

I intend to replay alot of old genesis games such as:

Shining Force 2
Phantasy star 1,2,3,4
Shadowrun
Sonic 1,2,3
Lost vikings
NHL 98

Am going to give streets of rage and golden axe a shot too if the controls work ok.

NES: RBI Baseball. I play this 99% of the time. Little bit of Galaga.

SNES: Super Punchout. Super Mario World. Tetris Attack. Tecmo SuperBowl III, Kirby Avalanche, NHL 94, Madden 94, Ms. Pacman.

Bomberman online is a free bomberman clone & open Tyrian is a pretty good pc shooter ported over to andriod.

I use a Wii controller and play with the Nexus hooked up to a TV.
