Good freeware mp3 to wav converter?

I have all the ripping and burning progs I need, but nothing that will do the mp3 to wav. Any suggestions?

Tanks,
Fausto

look for a program call Mp32wave, that's what i've been using...its freeware...it has a small little drag and drop interface...if you want it i can email it to you...just email me at jonnyjack@yahoo.com

i'll have to do it for you tonight though...

I second the suggestion for LAME (which you should be using to encode anyway), though Winamp lets you decode an entire playlist at once.

why does everyone still encode into .wav first?!?!

with most burning programs you just drag and drop the mp3 and you're set

decode guys, decode...

Fausto & tweakmm - throw the songs in winamp, go to preferences, output, select the Disk Writer plugin, configure, select the output directory, hit okay, hit close, play the songs (they will decode quickly, no sound). After you're done, go back to the output preferences and just select waveOut and close...

WinAmp is probably good, as has been mentioned, although I haven't used it to decode to WAV. I have used CDEX to do this and it was no probs at all.

because most burning programs suck burning directly to CD
