Good fps multiplayer games

Looking for a new fun game to play on the new rig. I've been messing with BF2 and Ghost Recond and I like both a lot. I know BF2 has quite a few servers and is a pretty active multiplayer game, but how is ghost recon, are there a lot of multiplayer servers? I think I like the realism, strategy, and single player of Ghost Recon a little more than BF2. Also are there any other good multiplayer FPS games out there that are worth taking a look at, I already play Americas Army and cs.

Another vote for UT2004. TONS of mutators, maps, etc. It's not a "military style" shooter, in fact the gameplay is very different: very fast-paced and frantic... but it's a LOT of fun.

The Splinter Cell series is also very good. It's very tactical.

For realism, Red Ochestra Ostfront 41-45.
F.E.A.R Combat has great graphics for a completely free FPS and there are quite a few servers.

And if you're a counterstrike fan, download TrueCombat Elite to go with it. Latest version adds HDR and fun stuff.

I'll tack on another vote for FEAR. It gets the adrenaline pumping really well in multiplayer matches.
6 people in a hallway trying not to die and shooting wildly FTW
It's extremely hectic most of the time, especially if you play in the servers that have alot of people in them.
Try not dieing when there's 8 people on the other team out to get you in a map that is nothing but hallways.
