Good fan controllers

Any recommendations on a good fan controller? I just purchased a NZXT Sentry LX and it's total junk. I was hoping to stick the sensors on/near my hd4870x2, but even when the sensors read around 20c it runs my fans at almost max speed, so that idea is out. Sorry but "Auto" based on temp does not mean running the fans at 1600 when cool and 1700 when hot. Now it's just being used as a fancy looking fan controller.

Are there any others with this sort of feature that actually work?

Oh, you want an automated fan controller - can't your mobo do that for you? The Silverstone Eudemon or the Sunbeam Theta (PCI card-based fan controller) may work for you. I use manual controllers and set temp alarms with the integrated mobo sensors. Alarm goes off, I crank up appropriate fans...

It does, but only for the CPU as far as I can tell. It has 3 pins for the other fan connectors but nothing seems to modify their speed. I can't even get speedfan to do it.

The Cooler Master Aerogate 3 has long been discontinued but occasionally you can still run across one. It has 4 channels of manual fan control and four channels of temp. sensors. The sensors don't control the fans but you can't set the temps for the alarm on each channel individually so you know when the fans need to be cranked up. Plus I have some fans that come with a remote sensor, only thing is no one seems to know what temp range the sensor operates within - makes the sensor almost worthless as far as making a buying decision.

my evga 750i mobo sucks for fanc ontrolling, maybe i got a bad one. but nothing in the bios changes fan speeds.

so i got me a Sunbeam Rheobus controlelr for 21 shipped off jactech. works very well, doesnt feel cheap.

I have a digital sunbeam fan controller for sale if you want one $20.00 shipped controls 7 fans and gives cpu, HD and
system temp
