Good excuse to be absent from school for 2 weeks?

poor guy we should not be making fun of him. mono is virus I believe that is spread mostly through kissing. It makes some organ pancreas I think and it sweals to a point that tomuch pressure to your abdomon could rupture it. So you have to be very careful and stay home till you get better.

Nope.

Once you have mononucleosis, you have it for the rest of your life. The Epstein-Barr virus is a member of the herpes family of viruses.

But the symptoms go away in 1 - 4 weeks. It's really not any big deal.. But it does suck while you're symptomatic.
