I always get Dockers. They'll last a few years of daily use, or longer, depending on how good you want your shoes to look.

I think the pair I just replaced lasted 10 years and looked like it, but they were pretty comfortable.

This is what I wear...

Is it still snowing or does the ground where you work look like Metro2033?

I'll see you on the battlefield...friend.

Johnny badass talks about putting boots into the face of people. *IF* you were in the armed forces you're going to have a tough time adapting to real life. 99% of people you find out there don't care about whether you can beat somebody up, or kill them, they care about how you can NOT do that to people and look respectable while doing it.

Grow up.

As far as normal shoes, I have many pair of AEs that are well broken in and do very well. They are extremely comfortable if you order the proper size and break them in.

It's Billy. Billy Badass.

I've had excellent luck with the Ecco Fusion line

I have one pair (brown) that I've owned for 4 years. Wore it 3-5x a week over that time in rain, snow, slush and even used it for light hiking. Its been to numerous countries with me and has great traction for that style of shoe if that matters. Sole has held up really well. Just started cracking about 2 months ago but I figure I'll still get another 6-12 months out of it

Another vote for Clarks. Cheap. Reasonably stylish. Can take some legit wear. Pretty comfortable.

Maybe things have changed in the last 3 years but I was never able to get more than a year of wear out of them (If even that much) before they needed to be replaced

Guess it depends on activity? I walk a few miles a day in mine and they're worn, but hardly too worn after 3 years now. I rotate though, have four pairs. So if you're only using one pair perhaps they do.
