Good, efficient, cheap hosts?

I need to get a domain name and a server, and I've seen tons of sites that have them. However, I'm starting to lose track and some are way cheaper but have wierd catches, but great in other areas. Bah, it's starting to confuse me so I'm asking ya'll: "What's a good place to get domain names and webspace?"
 
Domain name: godaddy.com (hands down)
Host: jaguarpc.com (troubles in the past, but some good plans and everything is running smoothly now)
