Good, efficient, cheap hosts?

I need to get a domain name and a server, and I've seen tons of sites that have them. However, I'm starting to lose track and some are way cheaper but have wierd catches, but great in other areas. Bah, it's starting to confuse me so I'm asking ya'll: "What's a good place to get domain names and webspace?"

I use dathorn for hosting and highly recommend them. For domain names, godaddy.

How many bytes in storage and bandwidth do you need? I can host your website pretty reasonably.
