Good dually benchmark

I've got Sandra '03 installed right now. I know about clibench (I think that's the name), but it'd doesn't offer much in the way of comparisons. Are their any other good benchmarks aimed at SMP that I can use to compare the power of my system against other systems?

Try a divx encode test. They do them alot over at tomshardware.com.

Quake III arena can do SMP, just enable it at the console.

Do the research first as not all of the divx encoding programs are compiled from SMP.....


Try running rempeg on an existing DVD rip...It basically resets the bitrate for the entire movie to meet a desired size....It has SMP ability...

Run Seti with Seti Driver and see what kind of Work Unit times you get.

I've heard reports from people who say that the later patched versions of QIII had the SMP part broken and performance actually suffered under SMP conditions.
