what is a good digital camera that is less than 400 dollars? i wanna get one for my mom.

i think the canon s100 is not bad. look at nikon 800 as well

I would vote for the Canon S100 as well. Nice and small. We bought the Canon S20 a few weeks ago and love it.

all of these guys are right and also consider Kodak DC240 its very nice 1.3MP USB camera professional kind, w/ nice cool tweakings in it, built in lcd, 16mb cf card, tv-out, 3xoptical 2xdigi zoom all for under $300!
