I don't make a thread each time I donate. These are my main causes for the week and usually a need that is URGENT in nature.
I donate usually a few times a day. If you count throwing bucks or pocket change into a march of dimes or other box, it could be several times a day.
With 6 pets and a nursing mom/kitten inside and a feral cat colony on my property I am at the pet stores usually 3 times a week or more. Each time I make a donation there as well.
Why are you so bitter about this? What's missing from your life?
He falls into the category of those whom facebook and social media actually make their life worse. Social media serves as a constant reminder to some people how terrible their life is, people usually post about how great their day is, how much they love their family, how much they donate, and there are some people who maybe don't have as much to be happy about. Those people who feel they have less in their life feel that social media is constantly pointing out their deficiencies, but really it is their own lack of self esteem and self confidence that makes them perceive anybody who posts about themselves or a good deed as an attack against them personally.
Be kind to these people, don't attack them, their life is already shitty enough without you attacking them. That's not to say you shouldn't post about your good deeds, but realize that there will be trolls that come in here taking your good deeds as a personal attack against their shitty lives. Show them the generosity and compassion you show animals and ignore these people. Attacking them back only makes their situation worse.
