You don't know what you are talking about. Simple does manufacture their own stuff although I'm sure they buy some stuff as well like every memory company.

How could they own patents on memory technology if they don't make their own?

Why would they have white papers on some of their product?

How where they first to market on 512MB compact flash way back in Oct/30/00 when the others have just brought them out now?

How could they could they offer custom design and manufacturing by their Silicontech division?

How could they be suing Dense-Pac Microsystems for patent infringement?

I found all this info on their website investor relations info, they definitely are a brand name company.
