is this a good deal? or am i better off just getting crucial or ocz? im ordering ram this week, and i was originally gonna get the crucial ballistix or ocz platinum rev. 2. What do yall say?

Well, if you are looking to major FSB overclocks, this stuff doesnt oc like OCZ, Crucial is good stuff, but from what I read it is hit or miss. If you have the money I would go with the OCZ, assuming you are overclocking

yea i will probably be doing some overclocking, but not very much. I plan to overclock cpu to about 2.4-2.5. Im kinda leaning to the ballistix, because i have a few friends that got them and recommend them. As for hit or miss...i guess they all hit I want quality ram though..in case i wanna mess around a lil with the cpu. I was also looking at corsair xlpt single 512 module..but i havnt seen anyone recomending those. From research i see that ballistix and ocz are best for oc'ing but i dont know if i need that much for my needs.
