The rebate looks to be through Philips and not OD. Looks like too many people aren't going to bite this one after Philips gave everybody (myself included) the shaft on the CD-RW rebate.

I bought a 17inch phillips monitor that had a 40 dollar rebate from phillips a little while back and got it pretty promptly.

yeah-didnt the phylips thing happen because the rebate company stopped handling it or something and they took it on for themselves? Hardly anything I would expect to happen twice...

No, Philips failed to fund Parago fully. I don't Philips knew how many rebates Parago would receive with that drive. Philips started making up stories about Parago going out of business and such. Funny, not one late rebate from Parago. Both my Philips rebates have yet to arrive after nearly 6 months!!!
