Maybe its not the hotest deal for this combo , but the processors come with three year warranty & a fan, and it says today is the last day at that price. $150 for just the a7v133
link
also they are a good company to deal with , unlike some others out there (from my previous experience).

Looks good. Their prices are just a little higher than MWave on the KT7A+1Ghz, but you get a better hsf and warrenty. I might have to buy my combo from here :)

Jimmygates is selling the A7V133 at 160 shipped and the 1Ghz can be bought for 180 + shipping. Just look at price watch....

Not thread crapping...

No you're not thread crapping this is a hotdeals forum :). But I hate to cap on some of the guys in the FS forum but they're starting to charge prices that stores charge which is kinda ridiculous. 160+180+Heat Sink Fan = same price as Monarch.

micropro.com: ecs motherboard + 850mhz t-bird + 1yr warrenty = $206

use pricewatch.com, search: 850 ecs, copy quote and paste in comment section of order at micropro.com.

ecs motherboard rated pretty good at tomshardware.com

www.micropro.com/pricewatch disclaimer only lasts 10 seconds..but:

A special note about motherboard kits. PriceWatch requires unique part numbers and these part numbers are not found on our site. In order to find these kits please follow this path. Select "Store" then
select "Motherboards". Find the motherboard manufacturer and type of CPU, click on this in the matrix. Find the motherboard of then click on the "SKU" which is in the "Upgrade" column to select the
CPU and any memory that you need. Finally, put a note about the PriceWatch price in the comments section.

I ordered from Micropro last week via Pricewatch - got the ECS Socket a KZVZA + Duron 700 + heat sink + fan for $136. ECS is a good MOBO, unless you're an overclocker. If you go to Pricewatch and select MOBO Combos and then go to the bottom and select by brand and click on ECS - you'll see just about any Athlon/Duron with this board from Micropro. I also have done business with Monarch and like their prices.
Tom's Hardware review of the ECS K7VZA. I received mine and was surprised to find that it contained the new VIA 686B South Bridge chipset and a UDMA100 ribbon cable. There is also onboard audio. Not a bad deal for a 2nd AMD - building this for my wife.

Heh, Mustangg. I actually sold a few items for a lot less then retail. I've always understood that you sell it for aobout 70%ish of the lowest price you can find. Anyways, point is, over in that forum, it seems the more u do business, the more of a license u have to ream others, with some notable exceptions of course.

Bigdoggy - let me know when you get yours and what you think of it - I should be firing up mine pretty soon - the manual that comes with it is very informative - you'll want to go here for the most recent BIOS, AC97 audio driver and VIA 4 in1 4.24a drivers
