I've been looking for a force feedback steering wheel, and came across the logitech wingman formula force. Most places I look, the price ranges from $99 to $159. However I came across the same wheel for $47.95 at this site: http://store.yahoo.com/justdeals/noname.html It says it's oem, so maybe that's why it's so cheap, but I have yet to see it anywhere near this price anywhere else. Is this a great deal or am I just not finding the oem prices at the sites I'm looking at?

That's a good deal, and so is the Logitech force joystick at $19 and the First Mouse w/wheel at $7.99. But shipping is kind of high. (Over $13 just on the steering wheel.)

You can get the InterAct V4 force steering wheel, which got the majority of the "Editor's Choice" awards last year & is featured in the racing column at the end of the latest PC Gamer magazine, for $59.99 at www.recotondirect.com. That's brand-new. Shipping is $6.00, but is free if the order goes over $100. This is the same place that has cheap 12 gauge speaker wire...or maybe you can find a friend who also wants a force wheel & would go in on an order to save shipping.

Check Office Max if you have one near you, they had the InterAct V4 force steering wheel on clearance for $29. I posted this deal 3 weeks ago, don't know if you will still find any at Office Max though.

It's the October PC Gamer that talks about force feedback, but I had the wrong wheel in mind--they use an ACT Labs.

The design of the ACT Labs steering wheel looks cool but too expensive.
