It gets better, 'cause they were willing to sell me the G1 for $834.00 ($825 + $9) after shipping in their best effort to match:

I just checked Pictureline.com, they have it now priced at $825! Still only $9 for 2nd day Fed-Ex. Had a friend looking for this one, looks like a great deal.

There's some much cheaper ones (Canon PowerShot S10 comes to mind), but overall yeah they're still pricey.

This looks like a sweet deal however. I'll consider it!

If you want to take the risk you can get it for $744 (+$20 S/H) from www.shop4digital.com
I'm scared out of my pants to order one from them (look at their reseller rating). Just for kicks I called them and asked a few questions ... they are a pushy bunch ... every other sentence was "So! Do you want to order now?"
If someone can get another retailer (outside of NY preferably and CA [since i live there]) to pricematch please let me know. Anyone is better than this bunch.
