I went to Computer Fest today Compfest and there was a special on a Maxtor UDMA 100 5400rpm 81GB drive. It was $295 CDN (approx $199 USD) and comes with a lifetime warranty. Compufest ends tomorrow at 6PM so if you plan to get one get it quick
Maxtor will only warranty a drive for 3years and any store which would give lifetime warranty is either going to go broke or they will go broke anyway when people keep returning the drive for a new one.
PC Power Inc/ PC Peripherals Inc isn't located in Canada right? Looks as though they are located in Colorado... so the prices on their site is USD. Is $250 USD still a good price for this drive? (81 gb)
