I'm just looking for a basic board. No RAID, not interested in overclocking, just a *stable* board with at least 3 DIMM slots, an AGP, and 5 PCI slots... Any opinions welcome!
Thanks

I second the KR7A but beware if you have a liteon burner some them do not get along with Abit boards

epox is good, but not if you want a GF4.

I'd probably recommend the Abit non RAID boards. They seem to be the best ones, few problems.

Try an Asus, Soyo or a Soltek board.

Abit tends to have problems with ram, Asus video cards, burners, and scsi cards. I like the Soltek and it's a good deal too. Asus makes pretty stable boards but are a bit premium price. Soyo makes a good board as well with alot of extra features.

I built a few system based on KT266A (1 MSI, 1 Asus and 1 Epox). The Epox 8KHA+ were the best of the three. She meets all you need and she's cheap, but it won't fit with a GeForce 4 Ti.

I like my Soltek. The DFI SD-70 (?) is also cheap and decent. Epox has the 8kHAL+ which does'nt have overclocking features but is cheap.
