ok I've got a the standard chieftec dragon type case. currently I have 5 80mm fans in my case all push around 30cfm. two in the front and acting as an intake, one in the side as an intake, and the 2 in the back exhausting, along with my psu exhasting (antec tru 430 so not much exhaust).
I'm thinking about turning the rear two fans around and use them as intake with one ducted right to my cpu. then adding a blowhole on top of my case with one of those 172mm fans that frozen cpu sells. I figure this solution would get more cool air over the cpu and increase the volume of air in general flowing thru the case.
I'll proubly also enlarge the fan hole in the side to 120mm to give my graphics card better cooling.
anyone have any thoughts? stupid idea?
