Hello, this is my first actual good computer i am putting time and money into. And im almost finished, but i would like to ask for help one last time before i complete it. so here it is.......

Asus P5W DH - Deluxe http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?loc=101&sku=202820024

Intel core 2 duo 6600 http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?loc=101&sku=202730357

ATI Radeon X1900XTX(planning on crossfire)
http://www.buy.com/prod/ati_radeon_x190...ard_dual_dvi_/q/loc/101/202211859.html

Buffalo - 2 gb - PC 6400 - DDR2 - 800 "fire stix" (2.1 volts) http://buffalotech.com/products/firestix.php

Antec Phantom 500watts (enough power?)

Hitatchi - 250 gb - SATA - 7200 rpm (is this some random off brand?)

and some other stuff thats not important,(like fans, cd drives and stuff).
Over all, this will cost me about $1200, and I was wondering if it was a pretty good build. I am almost at my final descision about the last 3 parts.

I have already bought the ram, the hard drive, the case, and power supply. And i dont think I can change what I already have.

But I could use some advice about the ram( is it good?),
the video card(how do I do cross fire? is it possible with this one?)
And the Mother board(I heard this one was good for crossfire).

All help is appreciated. Thx

Sorry about that, couldn't read your thread for a moment.

Wait to build, when RAM prices go down and you can get decent RAM.

DDR2 800 is a bit more then is nesscary. It will give you a bit more performance then 677 but the price is most likely not worth it.

500 Watts is plenty but I wouldn?t recommend the Phantom or any Antec PSU for that matter.

If you intend to go Crossfire I would suggest the new Energy Plus Seasonic S12; the 550 watt version should cover you nicely.

I don't know tbh. That was the reason I picked the Corsair. I'm familiar with that brand, and have heard good reports of it with that particular board.

Two reasons; they are overpriced and use low quality components (namely capacitors) that tend to fail far sooner then they should.

That E-Tailer has a really poor Rating,

http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2107.html

You might want to check that out before you get in too deep.....

That PSU is on the Light side to Do SLI/Crossfire...

Look at at Least a 550 to 600 watt and Reputable such as Thermaltake....Corsair,

If you've already bought everything why even bother asking?

You could have done better on the power supply and RAM, but since you can't change them, there's no point even taking about it is there?

The rest looks good. I buy Nvidia only, but that's just for personal reasons. I don't really follow what ATI is doing, so I can't comment on the gfx.
