Good Cheap Video Card Suggestions

I am building a computer for my girlfriends mom, its a fic az11, duron 700, 128 crucial pc133 cas2, hi val sound card, and WD 20gig HD, I need a decent video card, but dont want to spend too much. any good cheap suggestions?

Go with the Radeon DDR LE. You can find it @www.newegg.com for about 85 shipped. It's an awesome card, and with some minor tweaks, (reg edit, powerstrip) you'll have a kickin' card for under $90
 
Doubtful that she'll be playing much UT or Q3, so you might want to check out the Matrox cards-G200, G400, G450. Maybe the best 2D available.
 
I'd say Radeon LE if you're looking for an excellent 3D / 2D card. If you truly need nVidia, look for a GF2 GTS 32MB OEM.
 
buy a used matrox 200. I think the 2D quality of that card is better than Geforce 2 GTS. I use a matrox productiva mms (G100, 4 Mb)at school with dual output and the 2 D quality is amazing. (This particular card is too expensive, I think its rare or something)
You should be able to buy the matrox 200 around $40 if not cheaper.
 
I doubt your girlfriend's mom is going to do any gaming, so anything over 8 or 16 mb is really overkill. If you want to go cheap, the ATI Xpert 8mb is a great card for about $30 online. I have to agree with Jhhnn that Matrox makes just about the best 2d cards you can get. The cheapest one goes for about $89 and has 16mb.
 
I put a Diamond Speedstar A90 16mb in my parents comp and its actually not a bad card. I only payed like $35 for it , mabey even less. It could handle counterstrike and even Q3 at low res. Also Ati xpert and Matrox G200 are good suggestions.
 
thanks for all this input, looking right now like the G200 is going to be my choice, but about that radeon ddr le from newegg.com...the pic of "their' ddr le card doesnt have a fan on it where the pic of the card on ati's site does have this fan.

Actually the Ati xpert is appealing too, which do you guys think is better between the two? remember better meaning all factors (price, quality, etc.)
