I dont know if these are your guys style, but

I my self loose glasses or break them, most of the time break. I go to outdoor world or Target to buy the 15-30 buck glasses. They always feel cheap and feel like they will break easily.

I went to home depot and walked by their tools section and saw these Safety Glasses. I tried them on and I was surprised they feel and fit great.

It comes with a case and a lanyard if you want to use it. These glasses are as dark as the other cheap glasses and feel somewhat more expensive. They are Perfectly clear, if it wasn't for the frame I would not know I am wearing them. They are also ANSI Z87 Tested so they do protect your eyes somewhat.

15 bucks +tax you get some decent cheap sunglasses.

the reason you lose and break em is because they are cheap and you don't care about em enough to take good care of em.

try getting a $100+ pair of glasses and i guarantee you won't lose or break em ... at least not nearly as easily as you would a cheap pair.

I left a very expensive pair of Rayban's in the cup holder at a movie theatre. Sucked.

Lost a pair of Oakley's while on a speedboat..that also sucked.

I've had 300 dollar prescription glasses and they break quite easily.

Because you obviously don't value them. I have two pairs of MJ's that cost $180 and $270, and neither have been lost or damaged. But, my wife is like you and has managed to lose her Guccis and Hilfigers - but she abuses the shit out of them (not keeping them in a case, dropping them, etc.) so maybe she was just trying to get new ones ... meh.

Smith and Wesson safety glasses

I picked up a lot of 4 off ebay, one mirror, one clear, one amber, and one blue. I use them when cutting the grass and doing stuff outside. I've got a ZTR mower and low tree limbs can be a hazard, also I've been hit in the face from stuff from a string trimmer more than once.

I always used to get cheap sunglasses until I bought my first pair of Oakleys. Now it's tough to use the cheapos anymore, although I do keep a cheap pair in each vehicle in case I forget my good ones. The weight and clarify of a good pair is worth it imo, and I'm cheap.

Was really hoping they were polarized. I have a need for safety glasses just like this, but only polarized will do (working on the water - the polarization kills non-metallic glare).

Here's how you can tell.

Get into any recently made (sold in the USA) car.

Put on sunglasses.

Look out the back or side windows.

Tilt your head 90 degrees to the left.

If you don't know why by now - they ain't polarized.

i have a pair of oakleys ($50 direct from oakley, yes please) and a pair of serengetis

i like the serengetis more, but the oakleys are nice, and both are far nicer than cheap sunglasses. i had a decent pair of sunglasses break once and bought some similar safety glasses until i could find a deal on more sunglasses i liked, they werent anywhere near as nice.

/also, polarized ftw.
//spends a lot of time on the water
