What would be a good PSu for the following:

GIGABYTE "GA-K8NF-9"
Athlon 64 3200+

Get a 350W sparkle or fortron. They make some pretty good psus, and are at prices pretty low, i think they are both under $30.

Do not skimp on your PSU. That is the most important part of your computer.

At the VERY minimum i would get a Tt PSU. However i would highly recommend saving up $50-60 and getting a nice Antec, Enermax, or Seasonic unit.

Would the PSU that comes with the Antec Sonata be fine? Could you guys give me another option if I decide to go with a different case?

What do you mean skimp on psu? Sparkle and fortron are favorable over antec, and tt sucks completely compared to any of them. ANY sparkle or fortron or antec 350W will do good for you. a 350W sparkle will power an fx55 system with an x850xtpe and 2 harddrives and 2 cd drives with several fans fyi.
