Good CD-RW 24X media??

Hello ALL:

I hope this is the correct forum. I have beem using Verbatim Data Life + 16-24X cd-rw media with great luck. Now I need more and it is either out of stock or VERY expensive. I saw where Memorex is bad (big surprise) but was told Fuji 24X cd-rw media is very good.

Anyone know about the Fuji, or any others?

TIA
Dave

I didn't even know that 16x or 24x CD-RW media was even being made. The highest I've found locally is 12x Memorex media.

Generally, I've found Fuji to be good, regardless of the type of media.

Yes, in fact Verbatim makes a DataLife+ 32X cd-rw Media. I may go ahead and try the Fuji. 24X makes a big difference when using it for Backup.

Newegg just got their Fuji 24X cd-rw's back in stock. Box of 20 for $19 and $0.99 shipping.

Wow..that is expensive. Those CD-RWs are just as much as DVD and DVDRW media.

Yup, but for now we use them for backup and music. Backup is rotated and music is overwritten when I am sick of it. DVD's have too much room for us now. May spring for an NEC 3500A though.

I don't care what I use for mp3...even Fry's stuff (GQ) burns at 12x. But for backup I care about quality.
