good cd player?

i'm considering getting a new cd player since my old one broke. I don't need a mp3 player, because i don't download much anymore because of time. My limit is $100. Thanks.

I personally use one of Sony's G-Protection players. It works wonderfully, and it has an incredibly long battery life (32hrs on 2 AAs with antiskip on).

well i'm also going for that too. I just don't need a real mp3 player, with like a big hard drive and stuff on it. I just have mostly audio cds so all i need is a good cd/mp3 player i guess.

I just bought the Rio Sp150 for $30 AR from CC from a post off of the Hot Deals forum. You can see if they still have it. Though, I wouldn't spend too much for a "good" CD player as they seem to break quickly. I bought a phat Sony player and within 6 months it was skipping with the slightest bump. Sony said that it was because I dropped it, but i didn't! Anyway, whatever, I just buy cd players that are around 30 dollars now if I need. Panasonic makes better players IMO than sony's overpriced cd players.

MD.

btw, why limit yourself to a CD player? CD-based MP3 players are pretty cheap now, aren't they?

yep, you can get a cheap one that plays cd and mp3s for around $45.

What are some ones? (but they have to be able to withstand a long time. Don't want those bootleg ones that brake after a month.)

Well from the review the guy put its a good player. Its nice because it will play those mini cds. Bu if you want to use a regular cd you put that wing thing on. And it plays mp3s. Its got a good amount of anti shock. It just seemed Like a pretty well rounded player to me.
