She's a 10 sec 1/4 that will do 130 mph in a blink of an eye.

625Hp 7000rpm SR MKIV/M21/3:73 12 bolt posi under pump gas.

A beautiful and dangerous car if you don't know what you're doing. She's NO PC Game. I know, because I built her.

Wow! Sweet car!
She may be "Sweet" and pretty, but a dangerous and deadly brute hulk to handle.

Just imagine filling her up with pump gas in a Petro-Can gas station and everyone gather's around her.

Sweet and lovely car mean while you gotta go for a shit - LOL.

Do you want to open this door?

you can tune an engine for mileage, just like you tune it for power.

Nice Camaro, a 70 was the first car I ever owned myself in 77 and it didn't look that good or near as hot. Mine at the time would maybe get close to 13's. It wasn't a Z but was a bit over cammed, etc.

I hope your adopted son isn't too young, that is a lot of car.

I let one of my female cousins drive it once at a family event, it pretty much scared her to death almost the first time she let the clutch out.

Beautiful ride, anything special done to the suspension?
YES

Salt is a killer - Gotta kept her clean and if you don't have a garage forget it.

Of course she would burn a tank of gas and all the tyers off her in 20 minutes and go nowhere.

But on the Hi-Hwy got better gas mileage then a modern EFI Ford F150 1/2 ton, providing you stick to the speed limit and don't twitch the gas pedal.

After all she's a 1970.

Yes the 70Z appeared late in February of 71 and came with the Low Spoiler but by March you could buy the 3 Piece Hi-Spoiler from any GM Dealer - Still considered as original - My Z28 came original with the single piece low spoiler, white stripes and 4:10's - Who gives a ^%$#.

The motor is not the original SFT 375Hp LT1 but a 625 Hp SR 7000 rpm 460ci BBC MKIV/M21 to a 3:73 12 Bolt Posi.

Eat your heart out Baldwin - Would not mind a 70Z 240 Datsun with an 8000 425 Hp SB Chevy 331ci but then I almost built a 74 Volvo with that mill with a Jaguar XKE suspension - Still have the parts minus the car: unless, I put out for an AC Cobra Body ;p)

Did you not like your adopted son? ():)

I kid... that is a lot of motor man. I hope he is the reserved type. How old is he? Car is nice, revs pretty high too.

Killer ride, like it very much! The only thing that could make it better is mini-tubs and more rubber in the back! :D

I loved the British Austin (Anglia) Mini Cooper - Drove one in the Canadian Winter in the early 70's - All you need is a quart of hot water poured over them SU's to get her started.

I'm Old School.

As far a gas mileage goes with that BBC 70Z would cruise with better gas mileage then a modern Ford 150 1/2 ton on the open range = Just don't tweak the throttle. Of course the Mini would burn a liter of gas in a month and just as much FUN.

bag of crap?
Your no mechanic and clueless.

She is absolutely gorgeous. Beauty and the Beast all in one.

My dad had a 70 1/2 Z28 with side pipes when I was very young (a baby, not even a toddler). He tells me stories about how he used to take me for rides in the Camaro to help me sleep, lol.
