Yes I am. Many of my ancestors arrived here via the Siberian land bridge many thousands of years ago...when there were no "indigenous people" here...in fact, they then became said "indigenous people."

I do have some European in my ancestry as well though.

However, all your points are now "mute" as the USA has enacted immigration laws. That trumps history.

Good points! We should learn from the mistakes of the Native Americans that freely let illegals in the country which later took all their land, money and resources. Look how their liberal immigration policy treated them.

You'd be surprised at what the illegal immigrants own...around here, they own decent automobiles, houses, businesses, gold & silver, etc.

No need for court if the law is changed to permit the confiscation...just like they do with drug dealers.

Yes, but then they have to be convicted. Most illegals do not go to court to contest their deportation. If they do they can get jail time.

So, if it came down to it, think how hard would it be to prove someone is an illegal? Remember, they don't have to prove they are a citizen. The government has to prove they are not.

Of course it would be even more difficult than that. In a drug bust the cops grab the drugs and any money laying around. What you are suggesting would mean the cops would have to literally bag up everything they find in an illegals residence and hold it until the case is determined. For every suspected illegal they arrest.

Proof of actual wrongdoing is not needed...in fact, you can be completely exonerated of any suspected crime...and still lose your goods...and there's generally not a thing you can do about it...even the courts rarely overturn such seizures.

I think it's funny (in a non-humorous way) that the Mexican government bitches about how we treat illegals from Mexico...but treats the illegal immigrants in their country a thousand times worse...
 
They could always setup hidden auto-turrets on the boarder. That or remove a finger each time one was caught.
