V. 1.0.3 Really crapped out on me. None of my extensions updated properly, When I close the main FF window I have to close it using task manager before I can open a new FF window (Like if I closed it, when i tried to open a window it wouldnt load).. The history wouldnt load 1/2 of the time, and also I cant POST on anandtech any more as new windows wont open.....
Im dissapointed. I liked the tabbed windows and popup blocker :(

Good Bye :(

FF 1.0.3 works fine for me here at work where I'm required to run a Mozilla browser. Sorry to hear that you're having problems with it on your system.

Sounds like one of your extensions didn't like the upgrade. I had similar problems and so I just uninstalled my extensions and reinstalled them and all is good again.

your reply windows aren't popping up because your javascript is probably disabled as a result of the unresolved bug. That alone is reason to stay away from FF until its fixed completely. I wish my IE weren't FUBARed as well though... I'm between a rock and hard place.

Mine did this too. Trial and error enabling/disabling different extensions I found it to be an incompatibility with the User Agent Switcher.

Most that frequent this forum often know which browser I personally use, but I actually rather thoroughly evaluate and test nearly all browsers unleashed on the market.

As such, I have to agree the above assessment is likely somewhat true. A fresh installation is always preferrable to an update, and is likely the cause of the problems being experienced.

Also, this thread would be better suited here.

It's flaky, have to do an uninstall, delete the firefox directory and shared files then do a fresh install and get your extensions back in.
