I'm looking for a title of good entry level book addressing how to setup a VPN.

I have an opportunity to install a DSL setup into a small business that I have already configured for two different workgroups. Now their parent company wants to install a VPN in the near future, using muiltiple IP's and I don't have a clue what it entails. I assuming it will require a server to administer the IP's but like I said, I'm just a FNG.

There's a "Dummy" book on VPN, may be worth a read as most dummy books are well written, hope this helps.

There's a couple of books I'm looking at on Amazon that look promising, but it's hard to tell. Specialty books are often too techinical, so all I can go by are the reviews. I just need something that will explain the software requirements and how to manage the multiple IP's. The hardware won't be an issue .

O'Reilly published a VPN book that I purchased. It's not bad. More theory than actual application though. Do you need to learn more about how VPN actually works, or are you looking for specific solutions?

I'm looking for something that shows basic configurations and hardware needs ie: Windows 200 server needed or not and what size VPN requires X amount of static IP's etc. I'll probably be jumping into an established VPN network and I haven't received the design parameters yet, so I'm trying to get a footup and educate myself before they expect me tp perform.
