Good Beginner's DirectX book?

I want to learn DirectX to use with C++. I am fairly new to programming, although I have taken 3 semesters of programming, and 2 were in C++. So I guess I'm not completely a beginner, but I'm not that good either.

Basically I am wondering if any of you have suggestions for a beginning DirectX book. Thanks.

I don't know any books off the top of my head, but make sure you go to msdn.microsoft.com and download the SDK for Direct X 9.0 and look at the samples.

This is the best online tut I can find. Unfortunately, it assumes you are semi-proficient at C++ programming.

Edit: Sorry, just realized you wanted a book. You might want some more experience in C++ before hitting up DirectX. 2 semesters isn't a lot of time.
