When was the last time you were in NY (if ever)?

Giuliani cleaned and gentrified the FUCK out of NYC in late 90's and 00's. I've never felt in danger once wandering alone at night.

It's almost amazing watching the old NYC in older movies & documentaries of 70s/80s/90s. It's a total 180 degrees now.

You just have to be careful in Bronx and some areas of Brooklyn. But seriously, you'll never end up there unless you look for it.

OP's staying in Times Square. LOL, that tourist trap is safer than joe's suburbia.
