Been looking at possibly picking up a Pentax K2000 and as B&H has an excellent price right now, was thinking of picking one up.

Unfortunately no one locally has one to handle in person so I'm kinda stuck with trying it first hand after I buy it. B&H seems to have a good return policy (15 days, 200 shutters or less no restocking), but was was curious if anyone has experienced it B&H returns themselves? Any issues?

bought a lens from them and had it shipped. When it came time to return, I gave it to my wife since she works in midtown. She had no problems with the return. I got an email confirmation from them before she even got a chance to call me and tell me she returned it

my first time in the store...i was seriously like a kid in a candy store. And they have so many staff on hand. And they all seemed to be extremely helpful

Never had to return anything to them but I have bought a few items and the customer service has always been top notch.

I've only returned a lens case that didn't fit the lens I bought it for well. No problem at all.

If you look at resellerratings, you'll see that B&H is about the top-rated retailer out there. There's a reason for that. I personally bought the wrong size lenses for my camcorder a few years ago and had no problems whatsoever returning them.

B&H has now restricted number of returns down to 5 per year. After I returned them Nikon DF because they shipped a used one instead of a new one - I got an email from Henry Posner

You bumped a 5 year old thread to post that? :colbert:

Haha, I was gonna ask what the acronym stood for, then I googled it 🙂

in my experience it stood for Bitchy Hasidics. Never had a good experience in their store. Always tailing me and bugging me as if i was going to steal from them.
