I wanna get backup software that will automatically backup certain files to a cd-rw. Do you guys/gals know of any good programs to do this with?

It will be for a windows xp based machine.

Thanks!

I know Veritas will do that with a tape drive (use it every day) but I don't know if it will work with a CD-R. I don't think so, but I'm not sure.

I'd like something like this too. For now I've been using the MS Backup utility, then zipping the archive and burning to CD-RW. Is there any (reasonably priced / free) software that will do it all in one step? It's a shame my Iomega CD-RW drive can't be used with my *Iomega* back-up software for zip disks. <sigh> That was a nice little program, but 100MB doesn't cut it for me anymore (I need three CDs for a back-up of "non-replaceable files" now that I've had a digital camera for a couple of months :D)

Try here. It backs up to a number of devices, and they have free working demo versions. There is a compatibility list of supported devices too.
