Good backup software

I need suggestions for a good backup software, preferably free. I recently bought a Western Digital External USB HDD and the backupsoftware it came with is pos.

I'll second that, I use it for my windows machines. What's nice is that it uses mstask to schedule backups, so you don't need to have another process running to have scheduled backups. I have like 5 tasks set up for various backup routines that run daily, while some run weekly and keep stuff backed up to/from my server.
