Grilled chicken breast on the foreman. So many things you can do with it, tastes great, easy to make, and pretty cheap. I lived off of that for almost a year before getting bored with it.

what do you use as seasoning/marinade?

I've started making homemade pizza for myself... I use a bread machine to make the dough, so it's really easy. Once the dough is done, it takes about 10 minutes to make a pizza, plus time in the oven. Bread machine makes enough for two 14" pizzas (and I like mine thin, so there's enough left over for breadsticks). Great meal, dirt cheap. Total cost is in the $1-$1.50 range

That's half the fun, come up with your own stuff. But when I would get lazy I would use this premade mix... damn the name eludes me at the moment but I'll edit this when I remeber the name. But I usaully try to stick with natural spices. --edit-- it was some Dom DeLuise chicken spices mix. Pretty good too. Don't over look the premixes because they often have spices that are too expensive to buy on their own. Just look at the ingredients list.

No MSG for me.

Want to kick your pasta up a notch? Grill a boob until it's dry, add a healthy helping of parmesan cheese, nuke for 45 secs, lay it on top of some pasta, and pour your favorite sauce all over it.

Ramen got you bored? Do a boob cut it up add it to the mix

sandwich? Anything goes!

There's also Teriyaki style, add some steamed veggies, put over white rice, instant chicken bowl. <--- very healthy. I would eat this when I would diet.

I could go on and on. Just browse your spices and sauces isle next time you go to the store. And pick out whatever you think would taste good.

Don't even get me started on lemon chicken!

meat + george foreman + bread, lettuce, and tomatos.

I'm also a big fan of vegetarian vegetable soup (either homemade or campbell's).

Meat sandwiches
Fried Egg sandwiches
Lots of lettuce and tomato on both

arg, I have a sudden craving for a fried egg sandwich. 🙁

Me too...

My favorite is a scrambled egg sandwich on white bread. This is the meal that got me thru my poverty stricken days! 🙂

What you do is scramble the egg and cook it like an omelet only instead of folding it you flip it over and then throw it on the bread. There is no finer meal when you are starving. 😀

Loaf of bread, dozen eggs, enough butter to cook the egg in = food for at least a couple days. 😉

Pasta. Dried pasta doesn't go bad. Just add water and nuke for 10 minutes.
Porridge. Oats don't really go bad. Just add water or milk and nuke for 10 minutes
Dried fruits - no need for preparation. Dates are good - taste just like fruit cake and ready made.
Breakfast cereals - can add fruit for variety - apples, banannas or dried fruits (see above) work particularly well.

but not that much nutritional value

- baked potatos

- baked chicken

- bagels + bagel sandwhiches

- green beans + light olive oil and crushed garlic (steamed)

- green beans + soy sauce (steamed)

- steamed real rice (not like 10min success/uncle bens)

- grilled chicken

- grilled burgers

- try salad with alpfa sprouts, egg, some type of bean/peas, cherry tomatoes, cheese carrots, its pretty good, and use light ranch dressing. depends on your taste.

Anyway thats usually what i make myself, nothing really takes very long to make, under 30min. A baked potato and some sour cream/chives makes a good snack.

Potstickers from Costco
Chicken - dump some type of spice on it and stick it in the oven. Always comes out fine. Or use breadcrumbs. 2 min prep
Baked potatoes
Cous-cous and cheddar cheese

Eggs in a frame. 😉 (Yes, I remember when it was your night to cook in high school!)

Let's just say I'm getting a little tired of quesadillas, grilled cheese, and nachos. Salads are ok, but get boring fast if it's the only thing you eat. Are there any quick, easy bachelor foods that are a bit more healthy?
Paella, grilled chicken, pasta...Those are a few I can think of off the top of my head that are easy and not too bad for you.

Primary:
Pre-cooked Butterball turkey breast (or you can buy chicken breast and cook it in boiling water).
Flour tortilla

Secondary:
Romain leaves (again, available pre-cut and cleaned in "ReadyPak")
Caesar salad dressing
croutons
Parmesan cheese

-- mix all ingredients together and wrap in flour tortilla to make Chicken Caesar salad wrap
OR
-- mix ingredients together (without tortilla) to make Chicken Caesar salad
OR
-- mid ingredients together without tortilla and chicken to make Caesar salad

---------
Primary:
Pre-cooked Butterball turkey breast (or you can buy chicken breast and cook it in boiling water).
Flour tortilla

Secondary:
Kraft (or your preferred brand) Barbecue sauce
Butter or margarine
Kraft Mexican mix cheese (or cheese of your choice)
Chopped Red onions (optional)
Salsa (optional)

-- get flour tortilla
-- lightly butter one side of tortilla
-- put a few strips of chicken (on the buttered side)
-- add a bit of cheese
-- add some onions
-- spread some BBQ sauce
-- fold tortilla in half
-- heat in pan (no oil) to your liking (e.g., brown, golden brown, until cheese melts
-- Eat with salsa (optional)

Or
-- do process above but don't add any chicken (it'll just be a cheese quesidilla).

🙂

You'll eventually get tired of them, but at least you've had 5 types of meals out of some simple ingredients with little prep time.

Didn't realize you were tired of quesidillas! How could you?! 😉

Chili:
- Brown and drain a pound of ground beef or turkey
- Stir in low-sodium chili mix (in the Taco Aisle)
- Add two cans of tomatoes
- Add a can of Kidney Beans
- (Optional) Add some garlic, chili powder, red pepper flakes, black pepper, or etc. to your liking
- Cook in a big pot until the flavors come together

Yeah I was confused for a bit too. Then I read the "chicken breast" at the beginning and made the question. Yay cognitive skills.
