the ecs k7s5a has 2 ddr and 2 sdr slots
make sure to get a good psu to go with it as it can be a bit picky about power
throw in a duron or low end axp and it'll make a nice stable little system

guess having asus as the board maker is good. A lot better than ecs especially if you want any overclocking features
also it has one more sdram slot than the ecs (Dunno bout stability tho)

I would highly recommend the shuttle ak32 from newegg. Just a bit more expensive than the ecs board but from my experience (I have had 2 k7s5a ecs boards and I am now running 2 ak32 shuttle boards) but much higher quality. 2 sdram and ddr slots, kt266a chipset as opposed to SiS, and the ability to overclock (muliplier, fsb, and voltage adjustments in bios).

I am running a xp1600 @ 1600 mhz in one and a tbred B 1700 @ 1900 in another. totally stable boards and no need for an expensive 400 watt powersupply to make the ecs board happy.

Stability is very good for the ASUS board. Never had any problems with that one.
