Good anime ?

Czar

Lifer
I have been out of the anime loop for a long time, last thing I saw was I think Hellsing or that cyperpunk thing I forgot whats called.

What are some good recent anime series that you would recomend for me? 🙂

Detroit Metal City just finished up (12 episode OVA) and the live action movie should come out sometime in the near future (to "acquire" that is... it came out in theaters in Japan in August).

Since that's done, all I'm watching is Gundam 00 Season 2.

like, from this whole year or just the big ones from last october?
if latter, I like clannad AS, ef a.t.o.m, kemeko and toradora the most, while hyakko and kannagi are also quite good. index is not shabby at all, but not what I was hoping it was going to be.

From finishing it up this morning I will say the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai series. First episodes left me wondering what the heck was going on, but by the end of the second season, I was more than singing its praised. Really cold moments reminiscent of Elfen Lied but without it going overboard. Cool storyline and it was easy to enjoy the personality of the characters.

I highly recommend checking it out.

I'm pretty sure there's already a third season in production. I have a clue as to where they're going with it, but the second season pretty much finished it up. Still, I'm excited to see where this separate arc will go. 🙂

It might just make me a little randay 😉

Besides, there were plenty of cute chicks getting bashed in the head, having their fingernails ripped out, and their intestines pulled out 🙂

Not to mention tiny cute little girls impaling themselves in the neck with large kitchen knives 🙂

I know now it seems like you wanna stay far away from it now, but i *do* recommend it!

I watched the first season, but not the second. I don't really care about cute/horror that much, too freaky. 🙂

One Piece (its nuts now)

The manga is pretty nuts to the max right now 😱. Although I'm more worried about what exactly they're going to do... splitting up the crew like that tends to make mangakas turn chapters into little pieces of each mini-story and that's only ever annoying (because the entire timeline progresses so slowly because you're following so many stories at once). This kinda happened on Thriller Bark, but it's definitely a lot more scattered now.

Oh and Boa's infatuation with Luffy makes me laff.
