Good animation software for a non programer

I want to learn to make some cartoons, animation etc.. just for fun. I am not a computer programmer, so I need a program that is somewhat easy to figure out. Yes, I have messed around with stick figure animator. I am looking for something more advanced. Is there a program you suggest?
 
KoolMoves is a fun little tool i found...produces SWF's but allows creation of "bones" and allows for more powerful Flash style tweening
