good aluminum case

Is there a nice looking aluminum case that is under $100 that is easy to do wire management? I prefer to be able to hide all the wires behind the mobo tray. Can someone recommend cases are like the ones i described?

I really hate my current aluminum case because of the 2 80mm fans in the back that are noisy and cause rattling
 
Its kind of hard to find a good Aluminum case for under 100$ The Antec Performance I P-160W Case might do it for you. I'm planning on buying the Lian Li P-60 series with the side window with shipping would run you about 130-135 . The same case without a window could save you another 10-15 bucks.
 
I have a p160 without a window, have zero complaints, you can find them around $96 before shipping, which will push it well over $100.

Case windows are a great place for EMF to leak in. If the sides are metal then EMF has little chance of getting in.

The P180 is the latest generation of that case, It is very light weight, cool running, and easy to work with.

Sigh, I paid that much for my P160, but it still does not fit the OP criteria of: <100$
If you can afford the P160, then I highly reccomend, wire management is simple, and it is much lighter than the P180.

EMF or EMR both are the same and can reak havoc on small intricate circuitry if the nearby levels are high enough.
 
Well, I have all the cable management on my P160 undone atm due to a watercooling conversion, I had to strip it to drill a couple holes in it... metal shavings and microelectronics just aren't friends. So I can't upload any meaningful pics. But wire management is wicked easy in a P160. Hide HDD cabling by mounting the drives back to front in their trays. Most of the wiring in this case can be routed along the backside of the drive bays, and secured with zip ties in totally invisible spots. Lots of useful nooks and crannies in the front part of the case for hiding unsightly stuff.

anyway, the super lanboy would be good choice, it can be had at compusa for $40 AR every other month or so.

A small lanboy weighs as much as a full sized aluminum ATX case. But smaller cases sometimes have hotter thermals.
 
I ordered my 3rd Lian-Li off eBay today. There's some great deals if you're patient and resourceful.
But nevertheless, Lian-Li makes the some of the best aluminum cases that I've seen and used.
Fit and construction were my prerequisites, your's might be different. LL is straight forward, no frills or any nonsense. but directly to the point.

This case is about the best he is going to get. It cost $110 and is definitly with in range of any one looking to spend $100. Lian Li PC61!

True, but like I said you get what you pay for. The opening poster is looking to a new Maybach for the price of a new Cadillac.

EDIT: Nylon Standoffs are cheap and easy to replace, just keep a few spares handy. A dozen can be found for $1.
 
Well, I've abandoned aluminum anyway... who cares about 1C difference for 6db(a) more sound resonating? Steel + vapor phased CPU + water cooled everything else 😉

Edit: Anyway, theres no way it's steel. If Lian-Li made a steel chassis, I'd have already owned it.
