Any one of many illegal sharing sites. AllofMP3 might have cost *you* something, but none of the money was going to its rightful recipient. I used it a few times for FLAC copies of hard to find stuff, but other than that, if you felt fine using AllofMP3, by all means, just steal for free instead.

Amazon.com is starting to ramp up on available 256kbps DRM-free MP3s, only $0.99.

Well, i'm in a music glut right now and would really like to experiment with random stuff, not things I already know of. Allofmp3 was great for checking things out. A subscription based service would work well too, I guess.. But i'm in apple/mac land so..

Amazon =/ subscription based, it's 99 cents a song.

Try an eMusic or Rhapsody trial; Rhapsody can let you use unencrypted m4a's if I'm not mistaken.

Why don't you just bittorrent music and paypal me $0.10 per track so that you can feel that you paid.

Amazon.com. Just spent my 5 free dollars there, very nice. 320kbs quality and no drm, songs as cheap as .79 cents!
