Hi there,

I'm going to clean out the dust on the inside of my PC. Just wondering if any air duster cans are good/bad/better?

Thanks!

I use my air compressor and when bloing the fans out I put a finger on the blades to keep from burning out the bearings ;)

Wait out for a free after rebate one if you can. You don't even need to cut the UPC's off them to do the rebate :D

If you're careful it's nice to use a hand vac (or fullsize vac) in the other hand to keep the dust from resettling inside the system.

Professionals use a static protected vacuum cleaner and a very soft bristle brush for cleaning. All canned air does is put the dirt up in the air to be breathed or sucked into the equipment again. You also run the risk of forcing dirt past seals into bearings and other delicate moving parts.

Moving around dust is not good enough.. Try a vaccum with a fine tipped nozzle, works INCREDIBLE. Otherwise the whole room is dusty when you are done and the pc still has a thin layer of dust on everything.
